Chelsea Thrash Man Utd

Image result for chelsea image    Chelsea put in a rampant display against Manchester United, as they thumped Jose Mourinho's side 4-0.
It was the perfect start for Chelsea who opened the scoring after only 30 seconds when Pedro got in behind the United defence after a long ball from Marcos Alonso and coolly slotted past David de Gea, 1-0.
Seven minutes later Zlatan Ibrahimovic nearly levelled matters after meeting a right wing cross from Antonio Valencia, but his header went inches over from six-yards out.
It was 2-0 to Chelsea in the 21st minute after some sloppy defending by United at a corner-kick saw Gary Cahill toe-poke the ball home from close range, 2-0.
United spent the rest of the half trying to find their way back into the match, but were unable to do so as the half ended 2-0 in favour of the home side.
The Red Devils continued to push forward at the start of the second half and came close to scoring in the 58th minute, but Jesse Lingard’s long range shot was superbly saved by the Chelsea keeper.
The match was over as a contest in the 62nd minute when Eden Hazard collected a pass from Nemanja Matic inside the box, beat one defender and fired the ball into the back of the net, 3-0.
It was 4-0 to Chelsea in the 70th minute after some spectacular individual skill from N’Golo Konte, the Frenchman beating two defenders on his way into the box before clinically firing past De Gea.
The game died down in the final twenty minutes as neither side added to the scoreline, with Chelsea walking away convincing winners on the day.
