Plateau Commissioner Passes On

The Plateau State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Mr Sam Galadima, is dead.

A director in the ministry confirmed the development on Wednesday morning, describing it as unfortunate and painful.

The director, who was amazed over the recent spate of deaths in the state, recalled that in February, Governor Simon Lalong’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Alhaji Yusuf Hawaja, died, six days later, his mother, Hajiya Habiba, also died.

A few weeks later, the Chief Administrative Officer in the Government House, Rayfield, Jos, Mr Pius Dashe, also died. And now Galadima has followed. He therefore called for serious prayers for the state government.

The cause of Galadima’s death is however not yet ascertained.
