The prince has left Kate and his two children at home to be a guest at the wedding of former flame Jecca Craig

The prince has left Kate and his two children at home to be a guest at the wedding of former flame Jecca Craig to Prof Jonathan Baillie on Saturday at her family’s Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
Kensington Palace said the trip is paid for privately, apart from William’s taxpayer-funded bodyguards, and the prince is also meeting the Kenyan President and observing conservation projects while he is out there.
William was romantically linked to Jecca, now 34, after spending his 2001 gap year on her family’s 55,000 acre estate.
In 2003 St James’s Palace took the unusual step of denying he was romantically involved with her.
They have, however, remained close friends and the Kenyan estate is where William proposed to Kate on a romantic holiday in 2010.
Teenage sweethearts are
special no matter how much time has passed. Even when they are married
and have “moved on” they still hold a special place in the heart.
