"Pretty Little Liars" Is Not Returning Until 2017

"Pretty Little Liars" isn't returning until 2017, but a sneak peek at the series finale has landed online. Teasing fans about the potentially bittersweet ending, the show posted on its official Instagram page a scene from the last episode.

In the image, four girls who look like Aria, Alison, Hanna and Spencer are sitting outside a diner. The scene is apparently a nod to realist painter Edward Hopper, whose works have been featured in previous episodes of the teen drama series. "A sneaWhat catches fans' attention, however, is the fact that there are only four Liars in the image. "Why does it look like only 4 girls are there?" one person wrote in the comment section. Another speculated, "I think emily dies." Some people said the person's missing in the image is Spencer.

If you take a close look, a seat next to Alison is empty but there are five glasses of drink on the table. One commenter shared his/her opinion, "What I see is that Emily is probably inside and the seat beside Alison is hers (if it doesn't, just let me thinking that way hahah)."
